Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food and beverage service experience required
  • Must be able to pass background and references checks
  • Excellent customer service, communication, planning, organizational and inter-personal skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain communication with the client, food & beverage managers, and kitchen managers
  • Read and interpret banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Oversee catering and restaurant inventory needs and proper rotation of product
  • Design and create décor and display for merchandising of product when applicable
  • Manage customer service and resolve customer complaints to guest satisfaction
  • Describe menu offerings, packaging, and pricing to team and guests
  • Ensure successful client events through thorough checking of food standards, room setup, and on-time service
  • Assist with monitoring and managing catering staff compliance
  • Resolve client concerns before and during events
  • Create and manage staffing assignments for banquets and catered events
  • Train staff to achieve venue restaurant and catering standards
  • Prepare and distribute banquet event orders to all departments
  • Process banquet event orders including monitoring changes and client requests
  • Monitor catering events from start to finish
  • Assist with event reports and event check-ins
