Job Requirements

  • Meet qualification or eligibility or background requirements for this position
  • Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • A baseline hearing test is required
  • Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required
  • Direct deposit and Social Security Card are required upon appointment
  • Must possess a certificate in food service sanitation or have the ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment
  • Must possess a Serve Safe Alcohol certificate or equivalent or have the ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment
  • One year probationary period may be required

Job Qualifications

  • Have a strong background in leadership, communication and organization
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess an extensive background in restaurant table service, beverage service and managing events
  • Have managerial or supervisory experience supervising staff, enforcing operating procedures, conducting surveys, reviewing activity reports, recommending promotional activities, and revenue improvements
  • Have demonstrated experience in managing cost controls to meet budget requirements
  • Possess three years of managerial or supervisory experience served within the last six years in a high volume restaurant operation
  • Have experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a unionized environment

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing a high volume beverage program as part of a large full service food and beverage operation
  • Supervise, train, and schedule employees
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are met
  • Identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures to ensure efficiency
  • Evaluate the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, and mission accomplishment
  • Review financial reports and estimate projected costs
  • Develop activity financial plan
  • Monitor procurement of all supplies and equipment
  • Recommend and enforce operating procedures
  • Represent the activity to the public
