Job Requirements

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • ability to work flexible hours based on events including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays
  • must be able to speak, read and write English
  • professional attitude and appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 to 2 years related experience
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • experience in accounting and customer service
  • box office experience preferred
  • supervisory experience desired
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • knowledge of accounting and financial procedures including record keeping and reconciliation
  • knowledge of supervisory principles and practices
  • ability to coordinate and schedule staff
  • customer service and public relations skills
  • knowledge of ticket selling and box office operations
  • ability to count money and make change accurately
  • experience with spreadsheets and ticket systems desired

Job Duties

  • Hire and supervise part-time box office personnel
  • manage part-time staff and ensure proper customer service practices
  • staff the box office for promoter, walk-up sales, will call window, seating problems collection and patron inquiries
  • aid in event creation, management and coordination of ticket sales with promoters
  • assist with communication to outlets and computer ticket company
  • responsible for payroll processing including staff clock in/out, payroll approval and processing
  • perform other duties as assigned
