Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or non-U.S. citizen with 3+ years U.S. residency
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must complete a background investigation with favorable results
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
  • Must satisfactorily complete employment verification (E-Verify)
  • Direct deposit required
  • Probationary period may be required
  • Pre-employment requirements must be met prior to entrance on duty

Job Qualifications

  • Progressively responsible experience in management principles and practices
  • Experience in operations, administrative or managerial roles with responsibility for snack bar and facility management
  • Specialized experience in a bowling facility with knowledge of bowling programs, procedures, and rules
  • Experience in supervision and responsibility over at least one phase of bowling center operations
  • Clear demonstration of relevant experience in resume
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Assist the Bowling Center Manager in economic and efficient operation of the bowling center
  • Implement higher level directives and recommend improvements for food and beverage service
  • Develop promotional programs to increase participation
  • Assist with annual budget and financial planning including sales, programs, tournaments, and capital requirements
  • Track labor, food/beverage, and inventory costs and make budget adjustments
  • Review and evaluate sources for supplies, equipment, and merchandise
  • Manage workforce recruitment, training, and scheduling
  • Organize and schedule open and league bowling
  • Conduct bowling instruction courses
  • Ensure maintenance and preventive maintenance of bowling equipment
  • Conduct inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Oversee operation of pro shop and snack bar
  • Design and develop marketing materials
  • Receive and resolve customer complaints and requests
