Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • must obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card
  • five or more years’ experience in hotel restaurant/casino outlets or individual restaurants, specifically in a high-volume environment
  • background in bartending and Alcohol Management training
  • experience in pre and/or post opening of hotel/casinos or major restaurants or beverage
  • general understanding of spreadsheets and computer operations
  • proficiency with the Micros system
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure outstanding service to both regular and VIP guests
  • address guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfactory resolutions
  • implement solutions to enhance department operations and revenue generation
  • manage food, beverage and labor costs within the department
  • collaborate with the Purchasing Department to maintain proper stock levels, inventory control and quality of purchased goods
  • communicate with management, other departments and designated personnel to address departmental needs
  • create and manage recipe files, production schedules, specifications, and cost analysis sheets
  • work with management on menus, specials and future developmental plans
  • report any damaged or broken equipment to Engineering and upper management
  • ensure food and beverage safety protocols are followed
  • ensure safety standards are followed and report unsafe conditions to management
  • address sanitation issues and maintain high cleanliness and organization standards
