Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- must obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card
- five or more years’ experience in hotel restaurant/casino outlets or individual restaurants, specifically in a high-volume environment
- background in bartending and Alcohol Management training
- experience in pre and/or post opening of hotel/casinos or major restaurants or beverage
- general understanding of spreadsheets and computer operations
- proficiency with the Micros system
- excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensure outstanding service to both regular and VIP guests
- address guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfactory resolutions
- implement solutions to enhance department operations and revenue generation
- manage food, beverage and labor costs within the department
- collaborate with the Purchasing Department to maintain proper stock levels, inventory control and quality of purchased goods
- communicate with management, other departments and designated personnel to address departmental needs
- create and manage recipe files, production schedules, specifications, and cost analysis sheets
- work with management on menus, specials and future developmental plans
- report any damaged or broken equipment to Engineering and upper management
- ensure food and beverage safety protocols are followed
- ensure safety standards are followed and report unsafe conditions to management
- address sanitation issues and maintain high cleanliness and organization standards
