Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months of previous beverage service experience
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card
- Ability to obtain Food Handling Card
- Ability to obtain Non-Gaming Card
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
Job Duties
- Greet, interact, entertain, and serve guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to all guest inquiries, requests, directions, and information in a courteous and polite manner
- Assist the Bartender by obtaining food and beverage orders from guests, organizing and prioritizing service per appropriate service sequence
- Follow drink recipes when dispensing drinks and garnish beverages as needed per company standards and recipes
- Stock and setup/breakdown bar area daily
- Up sell guests by suggestively selling menu items, specials, and beverages
- Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
