Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 1 year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area

  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 1 year relevant experience

Job Duties

  • Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
  • supervises daily food and beverage shift operation ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
  • supports and supervises a monthly self-inspection program
  • operates and reports malfunction of department equipment
  • supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
  • encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • develops specific goals to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • communicates areas needing attention to staff and ensures understanding
