Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in banquet or event management
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong leadership abilities
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
  • self-starting personality with a calm demeanor

  • experience in event management or catering
  • supervisory experience in a hospitality setting

Job Duties

  • assist banquet manager in coordinating banquet events
  • supervise banquet personnel to ensure service quality
  • train banquet staff on service standards and safety protocols
  • direct banquet team during events to maintain smooth operations
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • maintain high standards of guest relations and etiquette
  • motivate the banquet team to exceed guest expectations
