Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or food and beverage management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
  • Effective organizational and leadership abilities

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and guest service standards

  • High school diploma or equivalent, hospitality or related degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions to ensure quality service and product quality
  • Assist with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions including breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas
  • Greet and welcome client representatives and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Participate in and lead department meetings
  • Process banquet checks accurately and efficiently for payment
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
