Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of banquet or event management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in banquet or event management, hotel experience a plus
  • Strong leadership skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Assist in management of all banquet operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability
  • Supervise food and beverage setup and cleanup
  • Assist in planning, organizing and executing all banquet functions such as breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas
  • Monitor and develop team member performance by providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
  • Greet clients and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
