Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certification
  • Minimum 3 years banquet management experience
  • Proficient in POS systems
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage staffing and schedules
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Detail oriented and dependable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and technologies

Job Qualifications

  • Certificate(s) or license(s) such as ServSafe
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior banquet management experience
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Knowledge of front and back of house operations
  • Inventory management skills
  • Strong team building and collaboration abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Adaptability to learn new systems and technologies

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of banquets and catering in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Coordinate maintenance and development methods for high quality food preparation
  • Assist in maintaining and developing procedures for food service
  • Present menu items for maximum customer satisfaction
  • Assist in managing staffing levels and shift assignments
  • Assist in hiring and training banquet staff
  • Develop and hold the team accountable to standards
  • Ensure operational basics, standards, SOPs, and SIPs are adhered to in both front and back of house
  • Provide direction and guidance to employees
  • Enforce safety and sanitation procedures
  • Exercise good judgment and serve as a role model within the restaurant
  • Learn new tasks, systems, and technologies as required
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
