Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Ability to assist in managing departmental inventories and assets
- Ability to maintain attendance logs and enforce sanitation levels
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures and company policies
- Capability to schedule banquet service staff and maximize profits
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to respond to and handle guest complaints
- Willingness to participate in team meetings and training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Knowledge of food and wine pairings and event presentation
- Ability to lead and participate in servicing events
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Experience in scheduling and supervising staff
- Ability to handle guest problems and provide feedback
Job Duties
- Assist in managing departmental inventories and assets including par levels and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain attendance log for banquet employees
- Maintain and enforce established sanitation levels
- Adhere to and reinforce all standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure employee awareness of the event phase portion of the Meeting Planner Survey and Guest Satisfaction Scores
- Order supplies for the department such as china, glass, silver, buffet presentations, props, and other service equipment needs
- Use banquet beverage records to guide banquet beverage supervisor in controlling liquor costs, managing inventory and requisitioning liquor
