Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of banquet or event experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Ability to manage inventory and place orders
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Job Duties

  • Ensure partnership for successful execution of all specifics of banquet contracts resulting in high customer service levels and repeat customer business
  • Assist in communicating effectively and executing solutions in the Banquet Department Manager role in correlation with other departments
  • Cultivate a synergistic environment with superior guest service by proactively responding to and resolving key concerns
  • Perform inventory management through stocking and organizing, as well as advising food and beverage orders to upper management
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service
