Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years experience as assistant manager in banquets or food and beverage
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, cost and labor control
- Ability to use computer systems including MICROS and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Washington State Food Handler's Card
- M.A.S.T certification
- Ability to work in the US with employer's authorization
Job Qualifications
- One to two years experience as assistant manager in Banquets or Food and Beverage outlet
- Knowledge of divisional operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards
- Understanding of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- Ability to operate MICROS, Microsoft Office, and labor management systems
- Effective communication skills for diverse guests and clients
- Ability to prioritize guest and employee needs
- Washington State Food Handler's Card
- M.A.S.T certification
Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline banquet employees and supervisors
- Plan and oversee daily activities of banquet operations
- Provide visible operational leadership and handle guest complaints and special requests
- Collaborate with servers, housemen, and captains to support all banquet roles
- Coordinate set-up requirements and communicate with group contacts and Catering Managers
- Ensure quality and timeliness of food service and knowledge of wine and spirits
- Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management
