Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve results
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with bakery equipment and tools preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bakery or retail food service preferred
- Ability to manage and train employees
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Basic financial understanding related to inventory and budgets
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S standards
- Assist with bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising, and presentation of products
- Run the bakery department in the absence of the manager
- Ensure product availability, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to corporate and state sanitation regulations
- Fulfill customer special orders
- Assist in training and development of bakery associates
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with shrink control
- Learn and manage financial aspects of the bakery department
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
