Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, twist and pivot for extended periods
- Ability to lift and push/pull weights up to 100lbs occasionally
- Compliance with company safety and sanitation policies
- Willingness to assist with training associates and learning financial aspects of bakery department
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others effectively and demonstrate follow-through
- Knowledge of bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising and presentation
- Basic understanding of financial aspects such as paperwork, shrink, transfer sales and budgets
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Experience working in a retail or bakery environment preferred
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Assist the bakery manager with overseeing day-to-day operations
- Ensure policies and procedures regarding merchandising, sanitation, and training are followed
- Inspect bakery product to ensure availability and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards
- Run the bakery department in the manager's absence
- Assist in training and developing bakery associates to meet corporate standards
