Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results
- Availability to work in a retail store bakery environment
- Ability to comply with safety and sanitation policies
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Ability to operate bakery and warehouse equipment
- Willingness to learn financial aspects of bakery management
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others effectively
- Ability to follow through and achieve desired results and objectives
- Previous experience in bakery or retail food service preferred
- Basic understanding of sanitation standards and food safety
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
- Assist in bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of bakery products
- Run the department in the absence of the bakery manager
- Ensure product availability and quality to meet customer needs
- Fulfill all customer special orders
- Assist in training and development of bakery associates
- Adhere to corporate and state sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory levels and control shrink
- Perform other related duties as assigned
