Job Requirements
- Must be able to bake various baked goods including Mexican, Central American, and American styles
- Must enjoy working with the public
- Must be self-motivated
- Must exhibit responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards job, coworkers, and customers
- Must be committed to follow all health and safety regulations and policies
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to transfer to other locations within reasonable commute
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years of baking experience or one year of bakery management experience
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Basic operational use of standard office equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform job-related mathematical operations
- Friendly and courteous attitude with customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Assist bakery manager in planning, directing, and managing bakery operations
- Merchandize bakery products effectively and maintain freshness
- Rotate and replenish bakery displays
- Monitor product storage and ensure compliance with health department temperature requirements
- Prepare and bake products according to company quality and appearance guidelines
- Greet and interact with customers providing extraordinary customer service
- Respond to customer requests and maintain positive bakery environment
