Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve results
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Compliance with sanitation and safety standards
- Capability to operate bakery equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bakery or retail experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to manage and train others
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- Basic financial literacy related to inventory and shrink control
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Assist in bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising and presentation
- Run the department in the absence of the manager
- Ensure product availability and quality
- Maintain sanitary conditions and clean workstations
- Fulfill customer special orders
- Train and develop bakery associates to meet performance standards
