Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Minimum of two years retail grocery experience
Minimum of two years supervisory experience
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Outgoing and friendly behavior
Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to answer phones and take special orders
Perform housekeeping duties
Ability to operate bakery equipment and tools
Ability to stand for extended periods
Physical ability to transfer trays and items up to weight limits
Adhere to safety and health regulations
Hold a Food Handlers permit

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience
Have two years supervisory experience
Be dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Have good communication skills and ability to give and take direction in a team environment
Be able to answer phones and take special orders
Perform general housekeeping in the department including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
Be able to operate bakery tools and equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Use knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and a total of 8 hours per shift
Physically capable of transferring trays and items up to specified weights without mechanical assistance
Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit

Job Duties

Assist the bakery manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the bakery team
Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays
Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items
Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of bakery product
Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
