Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives
  • Experience in bakery or retail food service preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Familiarity with bakery equipment and safety standards
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in bakery operations or retail food service preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
  • Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards
  • Assist with preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of bakery products
  • Run the bakery department in the absence of the manager
  • Ensure product availability, quality, and sanitary conditions
  • Fulfill all customer special orders
  • Assist in training and development of bakery associates
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Assist bakery manager with inventory management and shrink control
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
