Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum of two years retail grocery experience
- Have a minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays
- Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to give and take direction
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping in the department
- Clean and sanitize work area including tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.
- Be able to operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Ability to vertically transfer tray up to 5 lbs from 7" to 64" for up to 10 hours
- Ability to vertically and horizontally transfer items up to 40 lbs for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit

- Uses knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
- Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team
- Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays
- Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items
- Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product
- Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
- Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other Bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
