Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy items and work in hot and cold environments for extended periods
- Willingness to learn financial aspects of bakery management including shrink control
- Commitment to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Availability to work flexible shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bakery or retail food service preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Basic understanding of bakery production and merchandising
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Assist in bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising and presentation
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
- Run the bakery department in the absence of the manager
- Ensure product availability and quality to meet customer needs
- Fulfill all customer special orders accurately
- Train and develop bakery associates to meet corporate standards
