Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy items and work in hot and cold environments for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn financial aspects of bakery management including shrink control
  • Commitment to adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Availability to work flexible shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bakery or retail food service preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Basic understanding of bakery production and merchandising
  • Familiarity with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
  • Assist in bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising and presentation
  • Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
  • Run the bakery department in the absence of the manager
  • Ensure product availability and quality to meet customer needs
  • Fulfill all customer special orders accurately
  • Train and develop bakery associates to meet corporate standards
