Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience
- have two years supervisory experience
- be dependable and reliable
- able to work flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior

- ability to give and take direction
- participate in a team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- able to operate kitchen and warehouse equipment
- able to stand and transfer items as required
- adhere to safety, health and weights regulations
- possess and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Qualifications
- be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience
- be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays
- have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers

- be able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping in the department
- clean and sanitize work area (including tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.)
- be able to operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed
- use knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
- be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift
- be able to vertically transfer tray up to 5 lbs, from 7" to 64" for up to 10 hours, and vertically/horizontally transfer items up to 40 lbs, from 5" to 36", for a distance up to 36 feet for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
- adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
- responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team
- execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays
- monitor in-coming cases for damaged items
- ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product
- unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
- ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other Bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
- thrive in a fast paced environment
