Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Frequent bending squatting kneeling and twisting
- Basic understanding of bakery equipment use
- Commitment to follow all company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience in bakery operations preferred but not required
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in a retail food environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for managing paperwork and inventory
Job Duties
- Provide fast friendly helpful and efficient customer service
- Assist bakery manager in overseeing day-to-day bakery operations
- Ensure compliance with merchandising sanitation and training policies
- Inspect bakery products to maintain quality and availability
- Maintain neat clean and organized work station per 5S standards
- Fulfill all customer special orders
- Train and develop bakery associates to meet corporate performance standards
- Manage inventory including freezers coolers back rooms supplies and Deco Pac
- Learn financial aspects of bakery department including paperwork weekly shrink transfer sales and budgets
- Control product shrink through adherence to policies
- Run department in manager absence
- Perform related duties as assigned by management
