Job Requirements
- Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Vertically transfer tray up to 5 lbs., from 7 inches to 64 inches for up to 10 hours
- Vertically/horizontally transfer items up to 40 lbs., from 5 inches to 36 inches, for a distance up to 36 feet for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
- Be able to perform general housekeeping in the department
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a minimum of two years retail grocery experience
- Have two years supervisory experience
- Have good communication skills
- Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Assist the bakery manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
- Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the bakery team
- Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays
- Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items
- Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of bakery product
- Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
- Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
