Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum of two years retail grocery experience
- Have two years supervisory experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to operate bakery equipment
- Have physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain valid Food Handlers permit

- Ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
- Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team
- Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays
- Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items
- Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product
- Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
- Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other Bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
