Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Prior kitchen experience preferred
  • Availability for 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Willingness to rotate between baking, cleaning, and packaging duties
  • Commitment to complying with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen or baking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and proprietary recipes
  • Familiarity with food safety standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
  • Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes
  • Prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into a hot oven and monitors the baking process
  • Assists with daily baking and production flow and processes
  • Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation and assists team members to ensure all baking supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift
  • Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene
  • Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
  • Rotates washing pans and baking dishes by hand
  • Mops and cleans bakery including walk ins and bathroom
  • Unloads and puts away shipments
