Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- availability for afternoon and evening shifts around 11 am to 7 pm
- willingness to work Sunday shifts when the store is closed
- ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs or more
- ability to adapt to schedule changes and flexible working hours
- commitment to following recipes and quality standards
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Job Qualifications
- Large-scale baking or pastry experience preferred but not required
- attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation regulations
- formal baking or pastry education is a plus
- ability to work flexible afternoon and evening shifts including Sundays
- strong physical stamina and ability to handle heavy lifting
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and baking procedures to create various artisan breads
- lift heavy doughs and ingredients up to 50 lbs
- stand and mix doughs throughout shifts
- maintain flexibility and adapt to schedule changes
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- contribute to a clean and organized work environment
- collaborate with the baking team to meet production goals
