Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have morning/daytime availability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including Sundays and occasional overnight hours
- Willingness to comply with local, state, and federal food handler regulations
- Dedication to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
Job Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale baking or pastry (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Formal baking or pastry education (a plus but not mandatory)
- Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Capacity to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina for sustained standing and lifting heavy ingredients
Job Duties
- Follow established bread recipes to produce artisan breads
- Lift and handle heavy baking supplies weighing 50 lbs. or more
- Stand for extended periods during mixing and baking processes
- Work flexible shifts including afternoons, evenings, and occasional overnight hours during holidays
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure baking operations run smoothly
- Adapt to changing production needs while maintaining attention to product quality
