Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have morning/daytime availability
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts including Sundays and occasional overnight hours
  • Willingness to comply with local, state, and federal food handler regulations
  • Dedication to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in large-scale baking or pastry (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Formal baking or pastry education (a plus but not mandatory)
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Capacity to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina for sustained standing and lifting heavy ingredients

Job Duties

  • Follow established bread recipes to produce artisan breads
  • Lift and handle heavy baking supplies weighing 50 lbs. or more
  • Stand for extended periods during mixing and baking processes
  • Work flexible shifts including afternoons, evenings, and occasional overnight hours during holidays
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure baking operations run smoothly
  • Adapt to changing production needs while maintaining attention to product quality
