Job Duties

  • Development of menu items and recipes
  • responsible for standardization of all recipes
  • oversee daily preparation of menu items and assure quality control by supervising and instructing kitchen staff to adhere to standardized recipes
  • supervise mixing of all dough including raised donuts, cake donuts and kolaches
  • adjust batches to kitchen climate to ensure product consistency
  • supervise rolling, cutting, proofing, frying and baking of full product line
  • manage completion of full production line according to production charts
  • communicate with management regarding par levels and supply needs
  • oversee finishing of all donuts including glazing, icing, filling, sugaring and decorating
  • assist in kitchen cleanliness, organization and safety
  • maintain high food safety standards and proper handling and storage of food and equipment
  • provide approval on all products prior to display
  • use various kitchen tools and equipment
  • ensure compliance with health department regulations
  • practice food handling and cleaning as outlined in employee handbook
