Job Requirements

  • Age 18 or older
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Meet any state or local licensure and/or legal requirements
  • Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate technology equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Lead a security culture including crisis response, safety environment, and crowd management planning
  • Implement daily/weekly Assets Protection workload priorities to support business goals
  • Respond to external and internal theft incidents and prevent future theft
  • Implement strategic resolutions of theft and fraud, apprehend individuals per policy
  • Partner with and support store leaders on operational shortage priorities
  • Lead and develop a team of hourly team members including interviewing and retaining talent
  • Support total store sales and ensure products are in stock and available to guests
  • Influence and validate physical security and safety processes, participate in emergency responses
  • Educate teams on emergency preparedness and physical security procedures
  • Anticipate staffing needs and manage schedules based on security trends
  • Investigate and resolve theft incidents, both external and internal
  • Communicate AP priorities and build relationships with law enforcement and store leadership
  • Support merchandise protection strategies and manage related budgets
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct and lead team accountability
  • Serve as first responder for in-store safety incidents and execute procedures
  • Model inclusivity and safety culture while recognizing hazards and following safety expectations
  • Participate in legal proceedings to represent company interests
  • Model guest engagement by greeting and assisting guests
  • Address store needs including emergencies and regulatory visits
  • Perform all duties based on business needs
