Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must be 21 years or older
  • must pass background checks including cannabis employment verification
  • reliable and punctual attendance
  • ability to remain alert and responsive for extended periods
  • capable of moving about the dispensary and assisting customers
  • ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift
  • ability to move inventory weighing up to 30 pounds
  • ability to operate POS and office technology
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
  • adherence to all cannabis industry laws and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • at least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred
  • familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred
  • security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a guest-first hospitality focus
  • meet scheduling and availability requirements including varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends
  • possess reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
  • pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements
  • possess valid driver's license or state ID
  • be 21 years or older and meet all state-specific cannabis employment requirements
  • comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry

Job Duties

  • greet all visitors with warmth and positivity
  • manage check-in with professionalism and efficiency
  • set the RISE vibe from the moment customers enter
  • provide basic concierge-level support by answering questions and directing traffic
  • serve as a visible and approachable presence to deter incidents and ensure calm and order
  • monitor premises for safety, comfort, and compliance
  • de-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication
  • support team members and operations in safety, cleanliness, compliance, and guest flow
  • report and respond to safety, security, or compliance incidents urgently
  • support emergency procedures including fire, evacuation, and weather response
  • conduct visual inspections to maintain a secure environment
  • foster strong relationships with store teams, leadership, and customers
  • share insights on guest interactions, safety concerns, and security risks
  • support training of new APS team members
  • perform other duties as assigned
