Job Requirements
- Ability to remain alert and responsive during extended periods
- move about the dispensary to fulfill work assignments and assist patients/customers
- remain stationary when required
- converse and communicate effectively with individuals and groups
- operate point of sale systems, computers, and office productivity machinery including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email
- inspect and receive detailed information such as patient/customer data
- move inventory and materials up to 30 pounds independently
- position self to move inventory in storage areas
- comfortable standing or walking for extended shifts indoors and outdoors
- maintain a visible and mobile presence throughout the shift
- adhere to all safety and compliance protocols
- follow instructions and incorporate constructive criticism
- operate with professionalism and integrity, including handling confidential information and complying with HIPAA requirements
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred
- familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred
- security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with guest-first hospitality service
- meet scheduling and availability requirements including varied shifts such as mornings, days, nights, weekends
- reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
- must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements
- possess valid driver's license or state ID
- must be 21 years or older and comply with all cannabis industry legal and company regulations
Job Duties
- Greet all visitors with warmth and positivity
- manage check-in with professionalism and efficiency while upholding compliance standards
- set the "RISE Vibe" upon customer entry
- provide basic concierge support by answering questions and directing traffic
- serve as a visible, approachable, and responsive presence to deter incidents and ensure calm and order
- monitor store entry/exit and site perimeters for safety, comfort, and compliance
- de-escalate situations with empathy, tact, and clear communication
- support team members in safety, cleanliness, compliance, and guest flow
- report and respond urgently to safety, security, or compliance incidents
- support emergency procedures and preparedness including fire, evacuation, and weather response
- conduct visual inspections per SOPs to maintain a secure environment
- foster strong relationships with store teams, leadership, and customers
- share insights on guest interactions, safety concerns, and security risks
- support training new APS members
- perform other duties as assigned
