Job Requirements

- 1-2 years related experience

- Ability to apprehend shoplifters and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30lbs

Job Duties
- Select, train, develop, and supervise Asset Protection/Loss Prevention staff on detecting and preventing theft of company property
- Develop, implement, and communicate programs to prevent theft among customers and employees
- Participate in initial orientation and ongoing training including the computer, surveillance, and alarm systems
- Respond to customer and associate incidents to facilitate first aid and minimize company liability
- Recover stolen merchandise and apprehend shoplifters who commit fraud or other criminal acts against the company
- Investigate criminal violations against persons or property committed on company premises
- Prepare prompt and complete reports related to theft incidents, recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Maintain strict compliance with law and company policies regarding apprehensions, searches, seizures, and evidence preservation
- Complete all security training requirements and maintain personal certifications
- Conduct and oversee audits to ensure compliance with merchandise exposure standards and asset protection
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement for criminal case coordination
- Testify in court as needed
- Work on special assignments, investigations, and surveillance
- Respond to alarm conditions at the store
- Perform other duties as needed
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
