Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or high school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant work experience such as retail or asset protection
  • Availability to work hourly full time or part time schedules, generally 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively, with flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week
  • Physical ability to perform prolonged standing and sitting and other activities necessary for the role
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, safety, business, or related asset protection field
  • National certified training program, e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training
  • Professional accreditation such as APQ, APC or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience in supervising employees including coaching, mentoring, directing, training, performance management, and recognition
  • Two years of experience as a manager in a retail environment
  • One year of experience conducting quality reviews and audits
  • Experience analyzing business documents such as P&L and exception reports
  • Experience conducting retail investigations
  • Experience using physical security systems like CCTV, EAS

Job Duties

  • Helping Store Operational Leadership team ensure associates deliver friendly, professional, timely service to customers
  • Monitoring receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for assigned store
  • Championing safety, hazmat, shrink, and security initiatives and establishing processes and controls
  • Overseeing and coordinating loss prevention programs and safety protocols
  • Coaching, training, and mentoring associates on safety and security procedures
  • Responding to incidents, including violent altercations, to maintain store safety
  • Monitoring inventory levels to help reduce shrink and shortages
