Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Experience in food processing or similar industry
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments
- Familiarity with OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of related work experience
- Experience in food processing, grocery store produce, delicatessen, or similar industries
- Solid understanding of food safety, regulatory compliance, and GMP
- Problem solving and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and lead others to achieve productivity goals
- Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
Job Duties
- Oversee an assembly team focused on packing items according to customer specifications
- Monitor work within the department to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a fluid schedule of open work items with target start and end dates
- Work in refrigerated environment for long periods of time
- Assist in ensuring proper training and development of assembly employees
- Monitor sorting, wrapping, and packing of airline dry goods, liquor, and equipment into airline carts
- Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, and HACCP
