Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Experience in food processing or similar industry
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments
  • Familiarity with OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Experience in food processing, grocery store produce, delicatessen, or similar industries
  • Solid understanding of food safety, regulatory compliance, and GMP
  • Problem solving and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and lead others to achieve productivity goals
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications

Job Duties

  • Oversee an assembly team focused on packing items according to customer specifications
  • Monitor work within the department to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a fluid schedule of open work items with target start and end dates
  • Work in refrigerated environment for long periods of time
  • Assist in ensuring proper training and development of assembly employees
  • Monitor sorting, wrapping, and packing of airline dry goods, liquor, and equipment into airline carts
  • Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, and HACCP
