Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience preferred
- Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure
- Previous soldering experience
- Ability to maintain good vision and eye-hand coordination
- Physical dexterity to perform standing, sitting, bending, reaching, twisting, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Ability to hear audible alarms and equipment noises
- Must communicate effectively in English
- Ability to use production tools and equipment
- Commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year related experience preferred
- Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure
- Previous soldering experience
- Working comprehension of the English language with effective oral and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Builds simple point-to-point wire/fiber cables following drawings and instructions to a high level of quality and productivity
- Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools including heat gun, hand crimpers, power screwdriver, solder pot, ruler, pinning machines, and automatic wire strippers
- Identifies wires using basic color code sequences
- Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of cable assemblies
- Maintains a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation
- Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines
- Tracks and records production results while following priorities to ensure on-time task completion
