Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of related experience preferred
  • Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure
  • Previous soldering experience
  • Ability to maintain good vision and eye-hand coordination
  • Physical dexterity to perform standing, sitting, bending, reaching, twisting, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
  • Ability to hear audible alarms and equipment noises
  • Must communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to use production tools and equipment
  • Commitment to safety and environmental compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure
  • Previous soldering experience
  • Working comprehension of the English language with effective oral and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Builds simple point-to-point wire/fiber cables following drawings and instructions to a high level of quality and productivity
  • Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools including heat gun, hand crimpers, power screwdriver, solder pot, ruler, pinning machines, and automatic wire strippers
  • Identifies wires using basic color code sequences
  • Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of cable assemblies
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation
  • Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines
  • Tracks and records production results while following priorities to ensure on-time task completion
