Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Micros
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Ability to communicate in English and fluency in either Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese or Asian language
  • Ability to analyze and interpret operation results
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure
  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner

Job Duties

  • Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant
  • Develop servers, host, cashiers and utility staff including training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment
  • Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary
  • Review departmental status with Manager
  • Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
