Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Depending on location, compliance with permits and licenses requirements
- Ability to follow company customer service procedures
- Ability to interact with customers and co-workers
- Ability to read prices, forms, recipes, and tags

Job Duties
- Provide customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy
- Follow recipes to prepare and cook food
- Cut, chop, slice, and clean meat and produce in preparation for cooking
- Assist with service at the counter as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation area
- Retrieve supplies from storage areas, coolers, and freezers
- Write orders as necessary
- Oversee the work of China Express Cook(s)
- Remove boxes and other trash from the area
- Order and inventory merchandise and supplies
