Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year previous related work experience preferred
  • Must possess a food sanitation certificate
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 year previous related work experience preferred
  • Must possess a food sanitation certificate
  • Experience working as a server in a fast-casual restaurant setting preferred
  • Friendly and outgoing disposition
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of basic food and beverage service procedures

Job Duties

  • Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu
  • offer cocktails
  • explain the chef's specialties
  • answer food preparation questions
  • Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc
  • Ring in all items as a cashier and collect appropriate payment from patron
  • Transmit orders to the kitchen by recording patrons' choices, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
  • Serve orders by picking up and delivering items from the kitchen
  • deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
  • Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs, observing dining process
  • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed
  • replenishing utensils
  • refilling water glasses
  • being alert to patron spills or other special needs
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant
  • inviting patrons to return
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
  • Adhere to Company’s grooming and appearance standards consistently
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
