Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 year previous related work experience preferred
- Must possess a food sanitation certificate
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 year previous related work experience preferred
- Must possess a food sanitation certificate
- Experience working as a server in a fast-casual restaurant setting preferred
- Friendly and outgoing disposition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic food and beverage service procedures
Job Duties
- Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu
- offer cocktails
- explain the chef's specialties
- answer food preparation questions
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc
- Ring in all items as a cashier and collect appropriate payment from patron
- Transmit orders to the kitchen by recording patrons' choices, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering items from the kitchen
- deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs, observing dining process
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed

- being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant

- Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
