Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand 12 hours for long periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level with willingness to train
- Basic math skills including weight calculations, averages, and percentages
- Ability to read and write in English
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF programs
- Understanding of allergen procedures and cross contamination prevention
- Accurate and detailed record keeping with legible handwriting
- Good personal hygiene
- Ability to make quick and accurate production decisions
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Coordinate, set up, CIP, swab test, monitor, and run mixing area following batch records
- Assist with routine maintenance on mixing equipment including valves, o-rings, packings, oil, and gaskets
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties with mixing area equipment
- Start up and shut down mixing equipment
- Understand flow process and critical control points in mixing areas
- Prepare and complete area paperwork accurately and legibly as required by FDA
- Work with management to monitor operational efficiencies, yields, and scrap loss and suggest improvements
- Communicate with warehouse, process operator, and supervisor regarding delays or issues
- Monitor mixing operation to ensure correct ingredients during staging and mixing
- Receive tankers and perform quality checks
- Direct transfer of batched product to storage vessels
- Take samples for quality department
- Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as needed
