Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours
  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds frequently and push/pull pallet jacks
  • Must be able to climb stairs repeatedly during shift
  • Must maintain good attendance record
  • Must have legible handwriting
  • Ability to troubleshoot moderate to complex issues
  • Must adhere to GMPs and safety procedures
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
  • Must have good personal hygiene
  • Basic math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform routine maintenance
  • Must work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to inventory raw ingredients

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills including weight calculations, averages, and percentages
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Accurate and detailed record-keeping
  • Understanding of allergen procedures and cross-contamination prevention
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Previous experience in a production or mixing environment preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, set up, clean in place (CIP), swab test, monitor, and run mixing area
  • Assist with routine maintenance on mixing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating difficulties
  • Start-up and shut down mixing equipment
  • Understand the flow process for mix areas
  • Identify critical control points and their functions
  • Prepare and complete all required area paperwork accurately
  • Monitor operations to ensure ingredient accuracy
  • Communicate delays and problems to relevant departments
  • Perform quality checks and take samples for the quality department
  • Transfer batched products to storage vessels
  • Relieve other team members during breaks and absences
