Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of airline industry experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams with financial accountability
  • Strong understanding of corporate environments
  • Experience leading large scale projects
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and contracts

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of airline industry experience
  • 5+ years managing and leading people with financial responsibility
  • Executive presence and understanding of a large corporate environment
  • Large scale project management experience
  • Experience managing multi-customer market
  • Strong strategic skills and business acumen
  • Ability to motivate teams to deliver high quality standards
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive professional internal and external work relationships
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-directed, highly motivated and proactive leader
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to rotate own schedule to be visible to all clients and team members

Job Duties

  • Conduct monthly safety meetings for all employees without exception
  • Manage all operational activities and multiple carrier contracts
  • Conduct flight audits, station audits, and at-risk behavior audits
  • Participate in monthly company safety conference calls
  • Communicate and instill safety awareness in all employees including new hires
  • Coordinate manpower requirements for group movements, peak travel holidays, out of scope and flight schedule changes
  • Oversee recruiting and placement efforts to ensure appropriate staffing
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies including FAA, OSHA, EPA, US Dept. of Labor and EEOC
  • Investigate, report and implement corrective actions for aircraft damage or employee injury
  • Conduct employee coaching and counseling
  • Manage disciplinary actions and documentation
  • Coordinate purchases for operational necessities
  • Review payroll and daily hours to maintain budgetary control
  • Monitor operational irregularities and document out of scope costs
  • Conduct weekly lead/supervisor meetings and daily briefings
  • Maintain uniform and appearance standards
  • Inspect facility including supply rooms and office areas
  • Review and disseminate daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Investigate service failures such as chargeable delays and mishandling
  • Administer operational plans including deicing, FOD, safety, winter operation and baggage plans
  • Complete personnel evaluations
  • Liaise with customer service, airport, USPS and customers
  • Respond to concerns reported by customer supervisory personnel
  • Attend local airport tenant, security and safety meetings
  • Perform routine visits to authorities
  • Other duties as assigned
