Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing provisions and tools necessary
- clean all equipment and areas
- lock doors at the end of shifts
- check with captain or supervisor before leaving
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
- clear dirty items from bar surface and tables
- maintain cleanliness and good condition of bar areas, furniture, tables, and tools in accordance with established guidelines
- comply with company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of company information and protect its property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- move, lift, and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts
- read and verify information in various formats
- manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees, bend, twist, drag, and stoop
- move across inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- ascend and descend service stairs or ramps
- welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- answer phone calls using proper etiquette
- perform additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors
