Job Duties

  • Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing provisions and tools necessary
  • clean all equipment and areas
  • lock doors at the end of shifts
  • check with captain or supervisor before leaving
  • organize, stock, and maintain work areas
  • stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • clear dirty items from bar surface and tables
  • maintain cleanliness and good condition of bar areas, furniture, tables, and tools in accordance with established guidelines
  • comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
  • maintain confidentiality of company information and protect its property
  • support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • assist team in achieving common goals
  • meet quality assurance expectations and standards
  • move, lift, and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts
  • read and verify information in various formats
  • manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
  • reach above head and below knees, bend, twist, drag, and stoop
  • move across inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
  • ascend and descend service stairs or ramps
  • welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • answer phone calls using proper etiquette
  • perform additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors
