Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of box office or performing arts-related experience
  • ability and willingness to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
  • must comply with Provo City and Covey Center policies, procedures, and dress and grooming standards
  • ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours
  • strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • ticketing software experience is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Supervise the daily operations of the box office during evening and weekend performances
  • facilitate ticket sales
  • supervise box office employees
  • act as a liaison between clients, guests, and Covey Center staff
  • provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • assist with deposits, audits, scheduling, and training staff
  • perform light custodial tasks as needed
  • help in other areas of the building as needed
  • perform other related duties as required
