Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Physical capability to operate bakery equipment
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
  • Knowledge of bakery operations and equipment preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with corporate sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly and efficient customer service at all times
  • Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling requests
  • Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
  • Follow production schedules as directed by the bakery manager or first clerk
  • Understand proper use of ovens including loading and unloading
  • Ensure all dough is mixed, fermented and molded to corporate specifications
  • Assist with creating customer special orders
  • Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers and utensils
  • Adhere to state and corporate safety standards
  • Control shrink through adherence to policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
