Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical capability to operate bakery equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
Job Qualifications
- Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Knowledge of bakery operations and equipment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with corporate sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly and efficient customer service at all times
- Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling requests
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
- Follow production schedules as directed by the bakery manager or first clerk
- Understand proper use of ovens including loading and unloading
- Ensure all dough is mixed, fermented and molded to corporate specifications
- Assist with creating customer special orders
- Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers and utensils
- Adhere to state and corporate safety standards
- Control shrink through adherence to policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
