Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of baking experience preferred
- current Food Handler’s Permit
- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to follow recipes accurately
- basic math skills
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- enjoys cooking and eating a variety of artisan bread products
- ability to read and follow a recipe

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the bakery provides
- responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the artisan bread counter
- confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all artisan bread products, paying particular attention to ad items
- ensures the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- follows precise recipes and techniques for the mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking of Harmons artisan breads
- assists as needed to ensure the success of the bakery as a whole
