Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of baking experience preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit required
- ability to read and follow recipes
- basic math skills to half or double recipes
- knowledge of baking procedures and times
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- excellent organization and planning skills
- strong communication skills including verbal and listening
- ability to accept constructive review and be accountable

- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the artisan bread counter
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all artisan bread products including ad items
- ensure the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily to company standards
- deliver excellent customer service to all customers
- follow precise recipes and techniques for mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking artisan breads
- assist as needed to ensure the success of the bakery
