Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • service oriented personality
  • able to carry a tray with 10 dinners
  • able to set tables, chairs, and rearrange furniture
  • prior experience in a quality establishment preferred
  • able to understand, speak, read, and write clearly in English
  • able to work effectively as a team member
  • good interpersonal and organization skills
  • must maintain current SafeServ certification
  • must maintain current Basset certification

Job Duties

  • Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance
  • assist bussing staff in removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters and then take them to the kitchen for cleaning when necessary
  • securely transport food from the main kitchen to specific banquet area either on trays or in warming containers
  • serve individual plates of food and/or beverages to guests in a professional manner
  • set and decorate buffets
  • check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
